Upon receiving your NDIS plan, it’s important to familiarise yourself with the goals, budgets, and support areas outlined. These elements guide how your funding will be allocated and what services you can access.

You’ll interact with several roles: Early Childhood Partner, Local Area Coordinator, Support Coordinator, and your NDIA Planner. They guide you through planning, goal-setting, and understanding your funding.

There are three primary ways to manage your NDIS funding:

Funds are transferred to you, and you pay service providers directly.

An allocated plan manager will handle payments on your behalf.

NDIA directly pays service providers for you.

To ensure you’re making the most of your plan, regularly consult with your involved parties like your Local Area Coordinator or Support Coordinator. Check your goals and revise the plan as necessary.
