Attendant Care

  • Our Attendant Care services provide essential daily support for TAC clients with physical, cognitive, or psychological injuries. Delivered by trained support professionals, our care is respectful, responsive, and aligned with each client’s needs and routines.

Support includes:

  • Assistance with personal care (e.g. showering, dressing, grooming)
  • Medication reminders and health monitoring
  • Support with mobility and transfers
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Domestic support (cleaning, laundry, shopping)
  • Community access and participation
  • We focus on building capacity and independence while ensuring safety, comfort, and consistency in care.

Shared Accommodation

  • Our Supported Shared Accommodation offers a safe, structured, and homely environment for clients who require 24/7 care. These homes are purpose-built or modified for accessibility and staffed by experienced support workers who provide round-the-clock assistance.

  • 24/7 onsite support staff
  • Assistance with daily living tasks

Client Independence Support Services (CISS)

  • Our CISS program focuses on helping TAC clients build or regain the skills needed for independent living. These services are tailored to each individual’s goals and are often used as a transition from more intensive supports to greater self-reliance.

CISS may include:

  • Support with budgeting and financial skills
  • Building routines and time management
  • Using public transport confidently
  • Social skill development
  • Preparing for education, employment, or volunteering
  • Capacity building in household management
  • Our CISS team works closely with each client to identify goals, develop skills, and build confidence in navigating daily life independently.

  • For participants eligible under the Transport Accident Commission:
    Attendant Care: Support with daily tasks during recovery from transport-related injuries.
